This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the annual corporate greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory covering Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions in line with the GHG Protocol.
• Create and uphold internal policies and procedures related to GHG accounting.
• Gather, analyze, and oversee carbon emissions, energy, water, and waste data across various business units.
• Collaborate with sustainability data leaders to enhance the sustainability data strategy and its quality.
• Assist in CDP submissions, the yearly Sustainability Report, and CSRD filings.
• Facilitate data auditing for both voluntary and regulatory reporting purposes.
• Build climate-impact models, emissions-reduction analyses, dashboards, and data tables for senior management.
• Work together with controllership and data technology teams to automate sustainability data workflows.
• Address discrepancies within reporting platforms and business data systems.
• Keep track of changes to international protocols and standards.
• Educate teams on best practices for carbon data management.
• Aid in the development and editing of enterprise standards.
• Act as an internal resource for guidance on environmental data.
• Report to the Environmental Sustainability Leader while collaborating with the EHS, Finance, and Data Technology teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Statistics, Environmental Science, or a similar quantitative field — or equivalent professional experience.
• Significant experience in carbon management and corporate-level emissions accounting.
• Proven expertise in the GHG Protocol (Scope 1, 2, and 3).
• Understanding of U.S. SEC climate disclosure regulations, EU Taxonomy, and CSRD.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Preferred: professional certification such as GHG Inventory Quantifier, ISSP-SA, or similar.
• Preferred: familiarity with renewable energy certificates (RECs), carbon offsets, and market-based emissions mechanisms.
