This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Develop and sustain reports for the supply chain.
• Examine report outcomes and enhance reporting efficiency.
• Oversee production planning and inventory reporting.
• Provide support for production planning staff.
• Collaborate with teams from Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Customer Service.
• Generate reports that analyze KPIs to pinpoint trends and areas of focus.
• Improve inventory reports to aid in inventory reduction efforts.
• Conduct analyses for safety stock and reorder points.
• Create dashboards for tracking, analyzing, and presenting data.
• Perform in-depth analyses of analytical trends and issues.
• Enhance and automate existing and future reporting processes.
• Assist in AS&OP meetings through data gathering and slide preparation.
• Model and evaluate supply chain scenarios while offering recommendations.
• Establish production and inventory strategies that balance resources, customer needs, and inventory goals.
• Supervise inventories, material movements, storage, reporting, and inventory accuracy.
• Maintain demand and achievable due dates for sales and transport orders.
• Oversee production orders and ensure firm planned requirements are met through completion.
• Manage WIP and scrap at external vendors.
• Monitor and address backorders.
• Assess work-center loading against available manufacturing capacity.
• Ensure safety for employees and adherence to departmental safety policies.
• Carry out other assigned responsibilities.
• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in an analytical capacity.
• Minimum of 3 years experience with SAP or similar ERP Software.
• Proficient hands-on experience and knowledge in Production Planning, Capacity Planning, and MRP modules.
• Experience with SAP IBP is advantageous.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• ASCM CPIM/CIRM/CSCP certification is preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, ideally within the specialty metals sector.
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing innovative ideas with measurable business outcomes.
• Positive, risk-taking mindset with a strong orientation towards action.
• Willingness to travel 10% overnight to various Materion locations worldwide.
