Vendor Management Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Collaborate across departments including IT, Legal, and Compliance to set and uphold standards and governance practices for third-party risk.

• Perform thorough vendor due diligence and continuous monitoring activities, which encompass assessing consumer-impact risk, analyzing complaints, and verifying adherence to privacy and data protection standards.

• Oversee documentation and reporting related to third-party risk, which includes maintaining the inventory of vendors and data processors, ensuring efficient onboarding and offboarding due diligence, and conducting regular compliance reviews.

• Carry out daily risk assessments to ascertain vendor criticality and recognize inherent risks in areas such as PII handling, BSA/AML, and credit decision-making.

• Partner with Legal to ensure that effective contracts are established and collaborate with Information Security to confirm the technical safeguards of our third-party partners.

• Detect, monitor, and escalate risk events or performance failures to senior leadership and banking partners through established issue-tracking systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in vendor risk management, procurement, or third-party compliance, ideally within the fintech or regulated financial services sector.

• Familiarity with the third-party risk management lifecycle and relevant regulatory guidance (e.g., PCI-DSS, SOC 2, GLBA, and BSA/AML).

• A proven history of managing a substantial volume of vendor assessments while maintaining a state of "audit-readiness" for banking partners and regulators.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or an equivalent practical background.

• Proven experience using Claude or similar large language model tools is essential; candidates should be adept at utilizing AI to improve productivity, research, and communication.
