Risk Operations Specialist, SQL

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Taiwan.

📋 Description

• Assist in the reporting and oversight of metrics and Key Risk Indicators (KRI) across product lines and divisions.

• Evaluate accounts based on designated queues to assess the legitimacy of the account and its holder, identify associated risks, and ensure proper restrictions or dismissal decisions are applied to each reviewed account.

• Continuously analyze cases and reports to detect trends and communicate insights to management derived from that analysis.

• Monitor account activities to identify irregularities and prevent any suspicious transactions.

• Reach out to account holders to verify activities and minimize potential losses.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics/Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, or Life Sciences.

• Prior experience in a Risk Operations role is advantageous.

• Familiarity with or experience in cryptography is a plus.

• Capability to make informed discretionary decisions based on research.

• Ability to manage multiple queues with a variety of tasks while maintaining a sense of urgency and follow-through.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new software technologies.

• Knowledge or experience with SQL/Datawind is a plus.
