This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Drive sales within the designated territory to achieve established business goals.
• Interact with customers both in-person and through virtual platforms.
• Formulate and execute business and territory calling strategies.
• Recognize and apply live and virtual customer engagement tactics.
• Establish rapport and foster relationships with customers in both live and virtual settings.
• Utilize digital tools and platforms to sustain customer interaction.
• Leverage internal reports and analytics to pinpoint and capitalize on strategic business opportunities.
• Provide authorized clinically-oriented disease-state information and patient resources in a compliant manner.
• Identify obstacles and motivators across Public Health, Private Market, Retail, and other pertinent channels.
• Collaborate with Field Medical, Account Management, and various cross-functional partners.
• Carry out administrative tasks, including customer call documentation, expense reporting, and addressing internal inquiries.
• Bachelor's degree, or an associate’s degree with over 6 years of experience, or a high school diploma (or equivalent) with more than 8 years of relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in professional sales, promotional activities, small business ownership or entrepreneurship, marketing, customer service, account management, relevant healthcare/scientific roles, education, or full-time military service.
• Must reside within 25 miles of the territory border.
• A valid U.S. driver’s license is required.
• Driving record must comply with company standards.
• Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citations within the past 7 years will disqualify applicants.
• Preferred: At least 1 year of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical sales, or medical-related marketing.
• Prior experience with vaccines is strongly preferred.
• Proven record of success in sales or marketing.
• Strong skills in territory management.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Demonstrated capacity for teamwork, leadership, and accountability.
• Experience with vaccine therapeutic areas and products is preferred.
• Familiarity with customers and markets in the posted territory is preferred.
• Preference for candidates residing within the territory boundaries.
• Candidates must have authorization to work in the U.S. with any employer.
• U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
• Permanent work authorization in the United States is required.
