UX/UI Design Intern – Mandatory Internship, Unpaid

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Create UX/UI designs for a web SaaS product powered by AI, tailored for children's book creators.

• Develop wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and UI components.

• Enhance user flows for editing, illustrating, layout, and book production tasks.

• Work alongside the engineering team to craft clean, user-friendly interfaces.

• Perform user research and usability testing to collect and implement feedback.

• Share ideas to enhance onboarding processes and the overall user experience.

• Engage in team meetings and disseminate design insights within the team.

• Organize and maintain design documentation and assets.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently pursuing a relevant study program or possessing a related educational background.

• Preferred experience in a mandatory internship; voluntary internships are also considered.

• A portfolio showcasing wireframes, prototypes, or product design work.

• Proficient in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or similar applications.

• Familiarity with user-centered design principles.

• Passion for UX/UI design accompanied by a strong attention to detail.

• Effective communication skills for collaboration with the team.

• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in English.

• Driven to work in an early-stage startup where ownership is valued.

• Experience integrating AI tools within your design process is a plus.

• Internship duration ranging from 3 to 6 months.

• Availability to work 20 to 40 hours per week.

• Immediate start date preferred.
