UX/UI Design Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop user flows and produce wireframes ranging from low-fidelity to high-fidelity for web-based product experiences, with prototyping as necessary.

• Effectively communicate design choices, interactions, responsive behaviors, states, usability factors, accessibility standards, and implementation considerations.

• Generate clear and comprehensive design documentation and developer handoff packages in Figma to facilitate seamless implementation.

• Contribute to and operate within established design systems and product patterns.

• Enhance existing experiences while ensuring consistency throughout the platform.

• Engage in feedback cycles, design evaluations, and iterative product development processes.

• Collaborate with project stakeholders and utilize project management tools (e.g., Jira) as necessary to deliver agreed deliverables within established workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Figma.

• Experience in designing responsive web applications with a solid understanding of usability, WCAG, and best practices for inclusive design.

• Experience in creating detailed design documentation and developer handoff packages that convey interactions, responsive behavior, reflow across standard MUI breakpoints, accessibility standards (e.g., ARIA), and implementation considerations.

• Familiarity with established design systems and component libraries.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and sustain progress across multiple projects.

• Capability to meet defined project milestones and deadlines.
