Utility Operator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Safely and expertly manage equipment operations.

• Utilize a front-end loader to supply the Metal Recovery Plant.

• Load slag/scrap onto customer trucks.

• Drive heavy haul/dump trucks throughout the job site.

• Carry out additional tasks assigned based on business needs and managerial direction.

• Operate machinery in various sections of a busy steel mill.

• Be prepared to operate other large off-road mobile equipment as necessary.

• Execute manual labor tasks such as cleanup and shoveling when equipment is not in use.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 months of experience in operating heavy machinery.

• Must maintain alertness and be drug-free at all times.

• Capability to climb in and out of equipment that involves multiple steps and ladders.

• May need to shift gears manually.

• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, both during the day and at night.

• Capability to work in a steel mill environment alongside large mobile equipment.

• Ability to endure all weather conditions.

• Capability to walk on uneven surfaces with loose materials.

• Proficiency in operating equipment and performing manual labor tasks, including cleanup and shoveling.
