• Develop and uphold our growth operating model, which encompasses bookings forecasting, target establishment, and capital distribution across acquisition initiatives.
• Take ownership of performance marketing expenditures across Meta (Facebook, Instagram), Google (Search, YouTube), and emerging platforms such as TikTok and Reddit.
• Act as the strategic liaison between marketing and finance regarding media budgets, ensuring alignment in investment choices and performance expectations.
• Establish measurement and incrementality frameworks that effectively illustrate genuine performance impact beyond superficial metrics.
• Oversee daily performance across all paid acquisition channels, consistently achieving payback period targets.
• Create and evaluate ad creative that drives significant enhancements in cost per install and conversion rates.
• Initiate and expand new acquisition channels, swiftly transitioning from test-and-learn phases to substantial contributions.
• Collaborate with agencies and internal teams to enhance campaign performance and creative production.
• Utilize AI tools (including Claude, generative creative tools, and analytics platforms) to boost efficiency and performance.
• Partner with Product to ensure acquisition strategies are in line with the product roadmap and user experience.
• Work together with Lifecycle Marketing to optimize the entire funnel from acquisition to retention.
• Assist in defining the performance go-to-market strategy, which includes incentive frameworks, add-on experiences, and renewal mechanics.
• Foster an experimentation mindset across all initiatives, conducting structured tests and disseminating insights throughout the organization.
• Evaluate marginal ROI across channels to guide budget allocation strategies.
• Anticipate performance gaps and devise strategies to bridge them.
• Master unit economics, including LTV:CAC ratios, payback periods, and contribution margins by channel.
• Create dashboards and reports that make complex performance data easily accessible to stakeholders.
• 4-6 years of performance marketing experience with a proven record of managing substantial budgets ($1M+ annually).
• Demonstrated success in scaling user acquisition while preserving or enhancing unit economics.
• Extensive knowledge of Meta and Google advertising platforms, with experience in launching and scaling emerging channels.
• Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in SQL, Excel/Google Sheets, and various analytics platforms.
• Proven experience in creating and testing ad creative that yields measurable performance improvements.
