US International Tax Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the preparation of US income tax returns for Americans residing abroad from inception to completion.

• Collaborate with the Tax Team to ensure compliance with firm standards and adherence to production timelines.

• Manage international tax forms, including Forms 2555, 1116, and 8833.

• Aid in fulfilling complex reporting obligations, which include Forms 5471, 8865, 8858, 3520, and 8621.

• Engage proactively with clients to collect necessary documentation and provide updates on status.

• Take part in team meetings.

• Contribute to the firm’s overall knowledge regarding evolving expat tax regulations.

• Adhere to established production schedules to guarantee timely filing and client satisfaction.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be available to commence full-time employment in January 2027; applicants with notice periods or commitments extending beyond this date will not be considered.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline.

• At least 2 years of practical experience specifically in expat tax preparation.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• A proactive, self-driven work ethic.

• Willingness to collaborate within a remote team environment.

• Proficiency in handling international tax forms.

• Strong attention to detail.
