This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vermont.
• Perform age-appropriate history assessments and virtual examinations.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide variety of conditions throughout the lifespan.
• Order and interpret any necessary diagnostic tests.
• Create and document treatment plans promptly and accurately.
• Manage both acute and chronic health issues, including mental health conditions for pediatric and adult patients.
• Initiate consultations or referrals to other healthcare providers when suitable.
• Provide counseling and education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans.
• Stay updated on the latest clinical best practices and evidence-based care.
• Offer cross-coverage for responsibilities such as reviewing lab results.
• Provide flexible scheduling options, including evenings and weekends.
• Graduate from an accredited Master’s or Doctoral-level Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program, following completion of an accredited nursing school.
• Hold an active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license while maintaining Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, as per state regulations.
• Possess current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through AANP or ANCC.
• Have an active RN compact license.
• Maintain active multi-state licensure **(5+ licenses preferred)**.
• Have a minimum of 3+ years of post-training experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care settings.
• Experience in providing care to patients ranging from newborns to adults.
• Ability to thrive in an integrated medical practice environment.
• Strong clinical judgment and capability to manage a diverse range of conditions.
• Excellent skills in communication, collaboration, and patient engagement.
• Proficient with technology and electronic medical records.
• Maintain active Medicare status - in good standing with Medicare/Medicaid and not excluded from participation in federal health programs.
