This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Dakota.
• Perform age-appropriate medical histories and virtual examinations.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage a diverse range of health conditions throughout all stages of life.
• Order and interpret necessary diagnostic tests.
• Create and document treatment plans promptly and accurately.
• Oversee acute, chronic, and mental health issues for both pediatric and adult patients.
• Seek consultations or referrals from other healthcare professionals as necessary.
• Provide counseling and education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans.
• Stay updated on clinical best practices and evidence-based treatments.
• Offer cross-coverage for responsibilities such as reviewing laboratory results.
• Provide flexible scheduling options, including availability during evenings and weekends.
• Completion of an accredited Master’s or Doctoral-level Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program, following graduation from an accredited nursing school.
• Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) license along with maintained Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, in compliance with state regulations.
• Current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through AANP or ANCC.
• Active RN compact license.
• Holding multiple state licenses **(5+ licenses preferred)**.
• A minimum of 3+ years of post-training experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care environments.
• Experience in providing care to patients ranging from newborns to adults.
• Capability to operate within an integrated medical practice.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage a wide array of health conditions.
• Excellent skills in communication, collaboration, and patient engagement.
• Proficient in technology and electronic medical records systems.
• Maintain active Medicare status - must be in good standing with Medicare/Medicaid and not excluded from participation in federal health programs.
