This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Perform age-appropriate medical histories and virtual examinations
• Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide variety of conditions throughout different life stages
• Order and interpret necessary diagnostic tests
• Create and document treatment plans accurately and promptly
• Oversee acute, chronic, and mental health issues for both pediatric and adult patients
• Seek consultations or referrals from other healthcare professionals when necessary
• Provide guidance and education to patients and their families regarding treatment strategies
• Stay updated on clinical best practices and evidence-based healthcare
• Offer cross-coverage for responsibilities such as reviewing laboratory results
• Provide scheduling flexibility that includes evenings and weekends
• Completion of an accredited Master’s or Doctoral-level Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program, following graduation from an accredited nursing school
• Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) license along with active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, complying with state regulations
• Valid national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner from AANP or ANCC
• Active RN compact license
• Active multi-state licensure **(preferred 5+ licenses)**
• A minimum of 3+ years of post-training experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care environments
• Experience in providing care for populations ranging from newborns to adults
• Ability to operate effectively within an integrated medical practice
• Strong clinical judgment with the capability to manage a wide array of conditions
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and patient engagement abilities
• Familiarity with technology and electronic medical records
• Maintain active Medicare status - must be in good standing with Medicare/Medicaid and not excluded from participation in federal health programs
