This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine.
• Perform age-appropriate medical histories and virtual examinations.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide variety of conditions throughout all stages of life.
• Order and analyze diagnostic tests as necessary.
• Create and document treatment plans promptly and accurately.
• Oversee acute, chronic, and mental health issues for both pediatric and adult patients.
• Seek consultation or referrals from other healthcare professionals when suitable.
• Provide counseling and education to patients and families regarding treatment plans.
• Stay updated on clinical best practices and evidence-based care.
• Offer cross-coverage for responsibilities such as reviewing laboratory results.
• Provide scheduling flexibility, including evenings and weekends.
• Graduate from an accredited Master’s or Doctoral-level Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program, having previously graduated from an accredited nursing school.
• Hold an active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license and maintain Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in compliance with state regulations.
• Possess current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through AANP or ANCC.
• Maintain an active RN compact license.
• Hold active multi-state licensure **(5+ licenses preferred)**.
• Have a minimum of 3+ years of post-training experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care environments.
• Experience in providing care to patients ranging from newborns to adults.
• Capability to operate within an integrated medical practice.
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to manage a diverse array of conditions.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and patient engagement skills.
• Proficient with technology and electronic medical records.
• Maintain active Medicare status - in good standing with Medicare/Medicaid and not excluded from participating in federal health programs.
