Unmanned Systems Instructor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Facilitates technical training sessions for clients and/or staff regarding complex scenarios involving various products.

• Design, manage, and deliver both formal and hands-on training for our clients.

• Offer technical field assistance for company products, addressing maintenance and operational challenges.

• Assist customers in troubleshooting protocols for system and network/communications hardware.

• Conduct product demonstrations and provide support to the business development team.

• Interpret technical documentation and oversee product performance.

• Evaluate technical data and assess maintenance procedures.

• Relay feedback to Teledyne’s engineers concerning feature enhancements and product improvements.

• Collaborate with internal teams to identify equipment issues not recognized by diagnostics and standard documentation.

• Deliver customer support by responding promptly to all incoming inquiries and communications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate degree in general business or equivalent experience with 2-3 years of relevant work experience.

• 2-3 years of specialized experience in a professional service/training role within a medium to high-volume high-tech manufacturing setting.

• Practical experience with the US Department of Defense as an unmanned systems operator.

• Experience as an instructor, preferably in delivering curricula for military, commercial, or general aviation.

• Certification as a DoD sUAS Master Trainer through a DoD sponsored institution is considered a plus.

• At least two (2) years of experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word & Excel).

• Must be able to obtain FAA Part 107 Certification.

• Proficient in concise reporting and remote communication.

• Proven knowledge of Wireless Communications.

• Must be eligible for Top Secret/SCI clearance.
