This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Act as the Tier III escalation point for intricate incidents related to Unified Communications and collaboration.
• Diagnose issues with Microsoft Teams Phone (Direct Routing, Operator Connect).
• Provide support for Cisco Webex Dedicated Instance (DI), Multi-Tenant (MT), and UCMC-G environments.
• Assist with Cisco CUCM, CUC, UCCX, and Expressway / MRA systems.
• Conduct advanced SIP troubleshooting, including CDR analysis, call flow tracing, and packet captures.
• Manage high-priority incidents from initiation to complete technical resolution.
• Deliver comprehensive technical findings to assist in RCA initiatives led by the Service Delivery Manager.
• Serve as the escalation authority for Tier II Network / UC Engineers.
• Use monitoring tools to detect performance issues.
• 5–7 years of experience in Unified Communications and Network Engineering.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Teams Phone System and Cisco Webex platforms.
• Proficiency in Cisco CUCM, CUC, UCCX, and SIP troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of routing and switching.
• Experience in supporting multi-vendor firewall platforms.
• Knowledge of NAC solutions (Cisco ISE, FortiNAC, ClearPass).
• Familiarity with the fundamentals of Azure and AWS networking.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills, including packet captures and log analysis.
• Experience in a Managed Services or ticket-driven work environment.
• Availability to work on weekends and/or during off-hours as required.
