This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +2 more states.
• Assess risks related to title insurance and address underwriting concerns.
• Offer underwriting solutions while ensuring adherence to legal requirements.
• Manage underwriting for both residential and commercial transactions.
• Conduct training seminars for title agents and production teams.
• Create continuing education (CE) and continuing legal education (CLE) courses for title and attorney agents in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while making informed underwriting choices.
• Manage a high volume of underwriting inquiries efficiently.
• Recognize new business opportunities and assist in enhancing client engagement.
• Accompany sales staff on agent visits across the states.
• Collaborate effectively within a remote team setting.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
• Minimum of 3 years of pertinent experience.
• In-depth understanding of real property law and title insurance in North Carolina, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Georgia.
• Must hold active membership in good standing with the North Carolina Bar.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
