Underwriting Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Provide support for the underwriting process of renewable energy project financing.

• Evaluate and assess project documentation, which includes Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contracts, Operations and Maintenance (O&M) agreements, interconnection agreements, and insurance policies.

• Aid in due diligence activities by liaising with internal teams as well as external advisors.

• Keep data rooms organized and assist in the preparation of compliance documentation.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Stay informed about trends in the renewable energy sector, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact underwriting assumptions.

• Prior experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, or project finance is highly desirable.

• A quiet work-from-home setting with dependable internet connectivity is essential.

• Capability to integrate technical, legal, and financial data effectively.

• High level of personal integrity, accountability, and a strong desire to learn.

• Candidates must reside permanently in the United States.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States at the time of application and throughout the duration of employment.
