This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Coordinate the servicing of new and renewal accounts in accordance with company and carrier guidelines.
• Prepare invoices and policy documentation efficiently.
• Assist with underwriting and rating tasks.
• Identify and resolve any processing challenges.
• Deliver professional service to agents, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
• Underwrite renewal business and escalate any exceptions as necessary.
• Clarify liability and program coverages to clients and potential clients.
• Provide guidance to underwriting clerks and policy typists.
• Review policies, endorsements, audits, and cancellations, and ensure corrections are coordinated.
• Rate both new and renewal business utilizing approved methodologies and tools.
• Manage account documentation and retention practices.
• Process policy servicing requests, including endorsements, audits, carrier requests, certificates, premium finance notices, and cancellations.
• Invoice and handle new business and renewal binders, premium-bearing endorsements, and cancellations.
• Establish and direct new submissions within the clearance system.
• Generate cancellation and non-renewal notices as needed.
• Maintain underwriting files, pending/suspense systems, diary systems, and account records.
• Carry out additional duties that support underwriting operations and service commitments.
• High school diploma or an equivalent level of education is required.
• A state-specific insurance license is mandatory.
• An associate degree or relevant work experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of commercial multi-line underwriting concepts, coverage analysis, and rating fundamentals is essential.
• Ability to interpret policy forms, endorsements, audits, cancellations, and carrier guidelines accurately.
• Capability to identify and resolve discrepancies effectively.
• Proficiency in Windows-based applications, Delphi, Microsoft Word, DocuCorp, and Rackley ISO Rating Software.
• Strong skills in documentation and file management.
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, track pending items, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
