Underwriting Analyst – M&A Division

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Support the underwriting process for Representations & Warranties insurance policies.

• Engage in internal underwriting discussions alongside the M&A deal team.

• Oversee submissions, quotes, binders, and policy issuance while ensuring appropriate supervision and approvals.

• Aid in the organization of electronic files, including maintaining a policy checklist spreadsheet that tracks essential policy and underwriting documents.

• Prepare excess policies.

• Handle client communications, including timely responses to broker inquiries under tight deadlines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or a Paralegal degree/certification.

• Previous experience with financial statements, taxes, and legal documents is preferred.

• Familiarity with current business and legal risks.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.

• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adhere to tight deadlines.
