UK Payroll Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Reporting to a manager based in the UK and being part of a supportive, collaborative team, you will be essential in ensuring smooth payroll operations and bringing joy to our clients.

• Efficiently drive accurate, end-to-end payroll processing to consistently meet key deadlines.

• Skillfully manage statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP, ShPL, SAP).

• Oversee BACS payment schedules to guarantee timely and accurate salary distributions.

• Foster excellent client relationships by delivering friendly, high-quality support through phone and digital channels.

• Communicate confidently with HMRC and pension providers to resolve inquiries effectively.

• Advocate for data compliance, ensuring that documentation remains secure and adheres to GDPR guidelines.

• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance workflows and stay updated on pension legislation.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of proven experience as a UK Payroll Specialist or Analyst.

• Comprehensive understanding of UK payroll legislation, tax codes, and manual calculations.

• A keen attention to detail and the ability to efficiently manage large volumes of data.

• Exceptional communication skills - you enjoy transforming complex data into clear and friendly guidance.

• Strong organizational abilities to excel in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.

• Bonus Points For: Experience in a payroll bureau or multi-client accounting firm.

• Familiarity with contemporary platforms such as PayCircle or Cintra.

• A CIPP certification or ongoing studies toward achieving one.
