This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Grasp client objectives and user requirements by conducting interviews, workshops, tree tests, and heuristic evaluations, then convert these insights into actionable product strategies.
• Create and document solutions throughout all phases of a project: including personas, sitemaps, user journeys, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
• Address usability and discoverability challenges in straightforward, intuitive manners while aligning user goals with business objectives.
• Integrate accessibility into designs from the beginning to guarantee inclusive user experiences.
• Transform brand strategy into seamless, polished interfaces, paying attention to detail that enhances the user experience.
• Organize and conduct user testing, analyze findings, and iterate as necessary.
• Develop and enhance design systems in Figma (including components, variants, tokens, styles, and documentation) to maintain product consistency and expedite delivery.
• Utilize AI to expedite the creation of wireframes, user flows, visuals, and interactive prototypes.
• Collaborate with project managers, product managers, and developers during the delivery process to ensure smooth transitions and accurate implementation of designs.
• Document essential specifications and rationale for design decisions, supporting them with data and project goals when presenting to the team and clients.
• Create and implement processes that enable us to deliver exceptional designs from conception to final product.
• Assist in business development activities (estimates, pitches, client proposals).
• 5–7 years of experience in digital product design, with a portfolio showcasing research-driven decisions alongside high-quality visual execution.
• Proven expertise in user research (interviews, usability tests, tree tests, heuristic audits) and experience in translating research into clear product strategies.
• Advanced skills in Figma, including Auto Layout and Variables.
• Strong foundation in typography, layout, color, and visual hierarchy, along with experience in creating and applying established interaction patterns.
• Understanding of accessibility principles and basic AI concepts, with the capability to recognize how AI can enhance our products and processes.
• Comfortable with the fundamentals of generative AI and eager to incorporate it into your workflow.
• Experience in designing for enterprise software or services.
• Ability to estimate workload, prioritize tasks autonomously, and go beyond static mockups to explore interactive designs.
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS to facilitate better collaboration with developers is a plus.
• Bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken.
