UI/UX Design Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Offer insights and suggestions regarding digital flyers, brochures, social media graphics, and various marketing materials.

• Evaluate DMS websites and recommend enhancements for layout, navigation, and overall user experience.

• Aid in the creation or updating of digital graphics and visual content.

• Assess designs to ensure alignment with DMS branding and visual standards.

• Contribute ideas for website and digital content layouts.

• Assist in developing simple wireframes, mockups, or design concepts as required.

• Work closely with the communications and marketing team on digital initiatives.

• Keep abreast of the latest UI/UX and digital design trends.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fundamental understanding of UI/UX and graphic design principles.

• Experience with Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or comparable applications.

• Enthusiasm for website and digital design.

• Knowledge of WordPress for web development.

• Excellent attention to detail and visual consistency.

• Creative capability to provide constructive design feedback.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

• Capacity to handle multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines.

• Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative.

• A portfolio or examples of design work are preferred.

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, Web Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Media, or a related field.
