This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Collaborate with the control plane development team on React operator consoles.
• Create user interfaces for engineers and security teams to manage protected-node fleets, monitor AI-agent activities, and develop enforcement policies.
• Resolve UI bugs across consoles and client interfaces for Windows, Mac, and Linux.
• Enhance navigation, validation, policy-draft safeguards, empty states, tooltips, popovers, layouts, and overflow behavior.
• Construct and improve design-system components and transition applications onto them.
• Design and implement data-rich dashboards, metric cards, charts, time-range controls, and filters for agent and fleet data sets.
• Deploy changes behind feature flags and manage incomplete functionalities.
• Engage with cloud environments, control planes, and management platforms.
• Transition from focused changes to owning feature domains such as policy authoring, dashboards, or trace viewers.
• Optionally explore design-centric frontend work or full-stack development encompassing APIs, data layers, and services.
• A degree in computer science or software engineering, or self-directed work that demonstrates equivalent rigor.
• Familiarity with data structures, testing methodologies, and version control systems.
• Capability to analyze and take ownership of code written by others.
• Proficient in TypeScript and modern React, including hooks, composition, state management, and understanding of re-renders.
• Strong CSS skills, including flexbox, grid, overflow management, scroll containers, responsive design, and tooltip/popover clipping.
• Competence in Git, including branching, creating readable commits, and participating in code reviews.
• Meticulous attention to visual details.
• A true interest in AI and agentic systems, along with their operational and security implications.
• Readiness to review code before making modifications.
• Nice to have: internship experience, significant personal or open-source projects, contributions to component libraries or design systems, familiarity with GraphQL, charting libraries, Playwright or other end-to-end testing frameworks, design training or portfolio, or experience in backend, security, or infrastructure.
