Senior Frontend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Croatia.

📋 Description

• Design and develop responsive, scalable, and user-centric web applications for AI-driven enterprise platforms.

• Convert product specifications, wireframes, and UX designs into high-quality frontend solutions.

• Create reusable UI components and ensure consistent design patterns across complex applications.

• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, WebSockets, and real-time AI model outputs.

• Enhance application performance, rendering efficiency, and client-side state management for intricate user journeys.

• Guarantee cross-browser compatibility, responsiveness, and adherence to accessibility standards across devices and platforms.

• Establish and maintain frontend coding standards.

• Write both component and integration tests.

• Engage in code reviews.

• Connect applications with cloud-hosted services and APIs.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in frontend development.

• Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and contemporary frontend frameworks, particularly React.

• Proven experience in building responsive, high-performance, and maintainable web applications at scale.

• Deep understanding of frontend architecture, component-based design, and state management.

• Experience with backend service integration, authentication processes, and secure enterprise applications.

• Practical experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.

• Previous involvement in large-scale enterprise environments and critical systems.

• Excellent proficiency in English communication.

• Must reside in a member country of the EU.

• Experience with AWS is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with Vue or Angular is a plus.

• Background in fintech or financial services is advantageous.

• Understanding of WCAG accessibility standards and design systems.
