This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Edit UGC-style video advertisements for paid social media platforms such as Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and other emerging channels.
• Develop motion graphics, animated assets, and visual effects that enhance storytelling and creative performance.
• Design ancillary graphic assets, including typography treatments, overlays, static images, thumbnails, and visual elements for video content.
• Work closely with creative strategists to grasp campaign goals and execute according to creative briefs.
• Translate scripts, concepts, and creative direction into polished, performance-oriented video assets.
• Evaluate footage, identify compelling moments, and construct narratives that optimize engagement and viewer retention.
• Preserve brand consistency while tailoring creative content to align with platform-specific best practices.
• Engage in creative brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas, editing techniques, and visual strategies.
• Efficiently incorporate feedback while juggling multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
• Stay updated on trends in social media, UGC advertising, motion design, and video editing.
• Organize project files and maintain streamlined workflows throughout the production process.
• 2–4 years of experience in video editing, motion design, graphic design, or a similar creative role is preferred.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UGC editing, motion design, and graphic design is required for consideration.
• Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Capability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic agency environment.
• Experience in creating content for social media advertising and direct-response marketing.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Figma, and Illustrator.
• Strong comprehension of storytelling, pacing, hooks, and editing techniques focused on retention.
• Solid graphic design skills, enabling support for static ad development, creation of compelling visual concepts, and development of graphic-led motion assets, GIF-style animations, and visual storytelling components that enhance creative effectiveness.
• Understanding of platform-specific creative best practices for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Ability to accept and implement feedback while maintaining a positive, collaborative attitude.
• Enthusiasm for social media, creative experimentation, and performance-driven creativity.
• Bonus: Strong fundamentals in graphic design, including typography, layout, composition, and visual hierarchy.
• Familiarity with AI-powered creative, design, and video production tools, with comfort in exploring and implementing AI-driven workflows to enhance production efficiency, accelerate ideation, and support the creation of high-performing creative assets.
• Experience within a DTC eCommerce setting is a plus.
