This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Lead major pursuits as the consultative sales process expert, providing strategy, best practices in business development, and sales leadership to formulate winning strategies that outperform competitors.
• Direct the discovery, pre-positioning, differentiation, and execution strategies for significant transformative programs with both current and prospective clients, as well as internal collaborators.
• Assess competitive environments by utilizing insights gained from recent successes and setbacks to enhance strategies.
• Foster a collaborative atmosphere by utilizing multidisciplinary teams from across the region and internationally to deliver value-oriented, client-centric results.
• Ensure collaboration between technical, marketing, and bidding teams to implement proposal best practices.
• Advocate for the entire sales process lifecycle, guaranteeing quality assurance and strict adherence to Go/No-Go protocols.
• Collaborate with marketing to launch strategic campaigns that align with key opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with commercial, financial, legal, and governance aspects of contracts.
• Promote accountability for achieving sales metrics and maintaining high capture rates.
• Align AECOM's initiatives with client priorities, emphasizing sustainability, resilience, and innovative solutions.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of a diverse pipeline of qualified opportunities, ensuring they align with business strategies and objectives.
• Build trust with client decision-makers and internal stakeholders, including Client Account Managers (CAMs), Marketing, Bidding, RBLLs, and the Executive Board.
• Bachelor's degree and 12 years of experience, including at the Director/Vice President level.
• Minimum of 4 years of leadership experience in business development strategy and team management.
