Accounts Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Aids in the daily accounting operations to guarantee precise financial documentation, prompt transaction processing, and adherence to internal protocols as well as applicable regulatory standards.

• Assists with the oversight of accounts payable and receivable, aids in monitoring cash flow activities, and ensures that all supporting documentation is thorough, precise, and properly organized.

• Prepares and sustains fundamental financial records, schedules, and reconciliations, playing a key role in the compilation of reports and financial summaries utilized for operational oversight and decision-making.

• Offers assistance in tracking costs related to projects, supports budget monitoring efforts, and conducts routine checks to ensure the integrity of financial data.

• Aids in upholding effective accounting workflows and promotes the ongoing enhancement of administrative and financial processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Management Accounting, Accounting Technology, Finance, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience within the UK/AU/US.

• Full accounting cycle experience is highly desirable (including AP, AR, bank reconciliations, general ledger, journals, and month-end processes).

• Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel, encompassing Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and financial formulas.

• Familiarity with Xero and other cloud-based accounting platforms is preferred.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong skills in time management, prioritization, and organization.

• Proven accountability, ownership, and the capability to work independently.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
