This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +12 more states.
β’ Enhance existing accounts, identify new business opportunities, and cultivate a robust account portfolio across the Western and Southwestern regions of the United States.
β’ Increase business with port clients, fleet management companies (FMCs), major enterprises, and clients focused on distribution centers, terminals, and refuse truck operations.
β’ Create, lead, and implement regional sales plans and strategies to boost profitability and service levels within the designated territory.
β’ Deliver persuasive sales presentations to potential clients, utilizing company demonstration trucks when necessary.
β’ Regularly achieve or surpass set sales targets and performance benchmarks.
β’ Guide contract negotiations with both prospective and current customers.
β’ Assist in the formulation of pricing strategies, encompassing quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
β’ Prepare and submit precise weekly and monthly sales reports.
β’ Evaluate sales data and market trends to determine sales potential, customer preferences, and inventory needs.
β’ Organize and engage in regional meetings, industry associations, and customer events.
β’ Maintain in-depth knowledge of the EV truck market, including OEMs, incentives, and industry developments.
β’ Attend meetings with vendors and suppliers to bolster sales and marketing efforts.
β’ Represent the company at trade association meetings, conferences, and expos to showcase products and services.
β’ A minimum of two to three (2-3) years of experience in Business-to-Business (B2B) sales.
β’ Capacity to perform effectively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
β’ Previous experience in Class 6 to Class 8 truck sales or electric vehicle (EV) truck sales is preferred.
β’ Strong understanding of sales principles and methodologies, including product presentation, promotion, demonstrations, sales techniques, and sales management systems.
β’ Proven ability to communicate effectively with customers, both verbally and in writing, tailoring messages to suit audience needs.
β’ Demonstrated capability to work autonomously, take initiative, and remain resourceful with minimal supervision.
β’ Experience in contract negotiations and influencing stakeholders to achieve favorable business results.
β’ Proven track record in analyzing data, monitoring performance metrics, and creating reports.
β’ Willingness and ability to travel within the United States to meet clients and attend trade shows.
β’ Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
