Tribal Partnerships – Engagement Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Take charge of expanding Kambo’s partnerships with Tribal communities and organizations along the U.S. West Coast.

• Emphasize community engagement and relationship-building, facilitating Tribal Nations' access to the advantages of efficiency and clean energy programs.

• Play a vital role in identifying opportunities, fostering trust with stakeholders, and supporting the development of programs that align with community priorities.

• Establish and cultivate long-term, trust-based relationships with Tribal communities, organizations, and leadership throughout the U.S. West Coast.

• Lead community outreach and engagement initiatives in a respectful and responsive manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in community engagement, relationship-building, partnerships, outreach, program coordination, or related fields.

• Proven experience working with Tribal communities, organizations, or governments, or personal experience within Tribal communities.

• Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills, with the capability to establish trust across diverse groups and settings.

• Ability to listen intently, navigate discussions with cultural awareness and humility, and develop relationships over time.

• Comfortable working independently in a remote, fast-paced environment while maintaining organization and accountability.

• Willingness and ability to travel regularly for in-community engagement and relationship-building.
