Senior Key Account Manager – Convenience Retail, Advanced Hydration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Oversee the strategic planning, development, and implementation of ADVANCED HYDRATION promotional strategies across all accounts, utilizing fact-based industry sales data, including IRI / Nielsen and other sector-specific information.

• Act as a strategic collaborator with both the regional Sales and Marketing teams to optimize Advanced Hydration’s financial resources and capabilities while adhering to the promotional budget.

• Lead the sales team for the designated territory, leveraging expertise to pinpoint opportunities and establish objectives to meet targets.

• Calculate, assess, and report on a variety of budgets, including customer and T&E expense reporting.

• Deliver consistent pre- and post-analysis of account performance by utilizing syndicated data and bottler sales reports as part of a continuous improvement strategy for the assigned territory.

• Timely and accurately communicate all trade plans to bottler and ADVANCED HYDRATION sales and marketing teams.

• Stay informed of competitive and relevant information within each account and provide ongoing feedback to the Director and VP of Customer Sales.

• Collaborate with the Coca Cola Bottler key account team to implement shopper marketing initiatives and the pricing package plan.

• Present customer results at various Division meetings to Senior Leadership.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience is required.

• A minimum of 6 years of experience calling on National Accounts in the CPG industry is required.

• Experience with syndicated data is necessary.

• Strong analytical skills are essential.

• Proficiency in computer skills, particularly in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, is required.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities are a must.

• Proven leadership skills and a successful track record in Business Development and the DSD Network.

• A reliable, hardworking, and proactive team player with a positive attitude.

• A creative thinker capable of independent work.

• Strong team management and development capabilities are essential.

• Willingness to travel 50% of the time by car and plane, covering both local and neighboring geographic areas.

• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and be capable of driving long distances.

• Motor Vehicle Records must meet Company standards as outlined in the Driving Policy.
