Traveling Site Superintendent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +8 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee and direct all construction activities on-site, ensuring that projects are finished on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

• Act as the main point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and vendors at the job site.

• Implement and uphold safety measures in compliance with OSHA regulations.

• Manage project documentation and reporting, utilizing construction management software (experience with Procore is preferred but not mandatory).

• Coordinate schedules, resources, and labor to meet project milestones.

• Identify and resolve construction-related issues, minimizing interruptions to timelines.

• Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, enforce safety protocols, and ensure quality control.

• Prepare and deliver daily and weekly progress reports to senior management.

• Assist in project commissioning, verifying all systems and components are functional, installed according to manufacturer specifications and design, and meet performance criteria.

• Provide support with system programming and troubleshooting.

• Manage project closeout activities, including final inspections, punch list completion, and handover to the client and/or Operations and Maintenance team.

• Be available for overnight or weekend work for essential tasks, such as shutdowns.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years in general construction experience, or 3 years in general construction and 2 years in commercial solar projects.

• OSHA 10 certification is required; OSHA 30 certification is preferred.

• Electrical experience or licensing is advantageous but not essential.

• A valid Driver's License is required.

• Strong management and leadership capabilities to guide teams and promote collaboration.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain client relationships.

• Proficient understanding of construction processes, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with construction management software (Procore experience preferred but not required).
