This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Organize and implement the project safety compliance program in accordance with company policies.
• Initiate safety meetings for on-site supervisors and the labor workforce.
• Engage with clients by receiving and conveying initial project setup details and periodic status updates, drafting significant project-related correspondence, and representing the Company in meetings.
• Cultivate and maintain a comprehensive understanding of all contract documents' provisions and requirements.
• Develop and/or evaluate preliminary project documentation, including project code of accounts, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
• Organize and strategize the execution of physical work.
• Create the project schedule and oversee its long-term planning and execution.
• Communicate and coordinate the schedule and plan with subcontractors and vendors.
• Identify on-site activities that may hinder project progress or compromise compliance with project/contract requirements.
• Prepare and submit related informational documents to the client or other responsible parties, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain strict oversight of the project budget for each work activity.
• Provide monthly reports on the project's progress and current profitability.
• Draft subcontracts and purchase orders for field-generated purchases and contracts.
• Review and approve related invoices and change requests from subcontractors and vendors.
• Prepare, quote, and negotiate contract modifications with clients, under the guidance of Project Directors.
• Maintain open lines of communication with all other support and business units involved in the project.
• Foster goodwill with clients, architects, engineers, etc., to facilitate construction activities and encourage future repeat business.
• Oversee the project activities of on-site project managers and staff.
• Participate in bidding, pre-construction services, budgeting, and Continuous Improvement Programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Familiarity with lump sum, unit price, and competitive bid environments is essential.
• Proven ability to deliver Project Gross Margin on assigned projects.
• Strong understanding of risk assessment policies and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with and lead professionals, including highly technical individuals; strong interpersonal skills are required.
• In-depth understanding and demonstrated success in managing construction operations.
• Strong conceptual planning capabilities and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership skills that encompass the ability to inspire commitment, monitor performance, coach and develop team members, negotiate favorable outcomes, create a collaborative environment, mitigate liability, and resolve issues.
