Travel Counselor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance and organize travel for corporate clients, including both individuals and groups.

• Coordinate and book business travel within the country and internationally, encompassing air, road, rail, and lodging.

• Utilize Global Distribution Systems such as Sabre, Apollo, Amadeus, and/or Galileo.

• Engage with clients through telephone, messaging/chat, email, and/or back-office systems.

• Proactively recommend additional services to clients while complying with company travel policies.

• Operate both independently and collaboratively to achieve business and account-specific objectives, including customer satisfaction, call adherence, and service metrics.

• Deliver innovative, timely travel solutions and an exceptional travel service experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in the travel sector (preferably in business travel) with knowledge of fares and ticketing rules for car, air, and hotel.

• Proficient in GDS systems (Sabre, Apollo, Amadeus, and/or Galileo); training may be offered.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Demonstrate integrity while safeguarding personal traveler information.

• Solid understanding of the travel industry, including business and leisure travel, or airline reservations experience.

• Capability to resolve customer issues swiftly and autonomously.

• Team-oriented with a willingness to accept feedback.

• Flexibility and readiness to work afternoon shifts (12-8pm) and weekends.

• Ability to function in a 24/7 Traveler Care environment.
