Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern, Spanish Speaking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Provide outpatient mental health services through Brave Health's telehealth program.

• Utilize technology to deliver mental health treatment and enhance access to care.

• Serve a diverse patient demographic, including individuals covered by commercial health plans, Medicaid, and Medicare.

• Maintain approximately 30 client care hours weekly.

• Conduct sessions with an average of 6 clients each day.

• Perform psychotherapy and comprehensive assessments.

• Create tailored treatment plans.

• Collaborate with clients to help them achieve their personal goals.

• Employ telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools.

• Assist patients dealing with mental health issues, substance abuse, addiction, and chronic severe mental illness.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree and appropriate licensure.

• Unrestricted ability to work in the United States without employer sponsorship at any point.

• A work-from-home environment ensuring privacy for patient safety and HIPAA compliance.

• Proficiency in English.

• Spanish language skills preferred; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.

• Familiarity with mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses.

• Experience in treatment planning.

• Comfortable using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools.

• Proven ability to partner with clients to achieve their objectives.

• Capability to conduct comprehensive assessments.

• Availability for 30 client care hours weekly, averaging 6 clients per day.

• Experience working with patients diagnosed with substance abuse and addiction disorders.

• Experience with patients suffering from chronic severe mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or schizoaffective disorder.

• Full-time psychotherapy experience, defined as 20 or more client-facing hours weekly.

• Current Associate Therapist/Registered Intern license or relevant active clinical credential.
