This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as clinical representatives for patients and healthcare providers regarding Natera’s testing services.
• Support laboratory operations effectively.
• Review, finalize, and communicate test outcomes for Natera’s oncology products.
• Respond to inquiries from healthcare providers about Natera’s oncology offerings.
• Conduct pre- and/or post-test genetic information sessions via telephone for patients.
• Assist in the creation of patient consent forms, genetic counseling protocols, SOPs, and educational materials for patients.
• Write or collaborate on abstracts and papers related to Natera’s oncology tests.
• Provide support to internal and field teams by addressing questions and aiding in daily laboratory operations.
• Represent the company at trade shows and medical conferences.
• Present at scientific meetings and promotional events for the company.
• Manage PHI in both paper and electronic formats.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Master's degree (or equivalent) in Genetic Counseling or a related field.
• Board certification from the American Board of Genetic Counseling or the American Board of Medical Genetics.
• At least two years of clinical and/or laboratory experience in oncology genetic counseling.
• Preferred candidates will be located in the Pacific or Mountain Time Zones.
• Must be available to work a standard schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time (PST/PDT).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, alongside strong attention to detail.
• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively with team members.
• Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
• Proficiency with Google and Microsoft office applications.
• Required to obtain and maintain genetic counseling licensure in all states that offer it.
• Complete training on HIPAA/PHI privacy, General Policies and Procedures Compliance, and security within the first 30 days of employment.
