Travel Consultant

📋 Description

• Provide expert travel advice and coordinate arrangements for corporate clients, encompassing both individual and group travel.

• Organize and secure bookings for domestic and international business travel, including air, road, rail, and lodging.

• Interact with clients through various channels such as phone, messaging/chat, email, and back-office systems.

• Serve as a reliable advisor by offering proactive travel insights and promoting additional services.

• Ensure compliance with the travel policies of client companies.

• Collaborate and work independently to achieve specific business and account objectives.

• Achieve targets related to customer satisfaction, call adherence, and service performance metrics.

• Deliver high-quality, innovative, and prompt travel solutions alongside exceptional customer service.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the travel industry, with a preference for business travel experience.

• Knowledge of fare structures and ticketing regulations for car, air, and hotel services.

• Experience with Global Distribution Systems (GDS), specifically Sabre.

• Proficient in utilizing the Sabre GDS.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Commitment to integrity and the safeguarding of personal information for travelers.

• Comprehensive understanding of the travel sector, including business travel, leisure travel, or airline reservation experience.

• Ability to swiftly and independently resolve customer inquiries.

• Willingness to work collaboratively and accept constructive feedback.

• Availability for shifts during the day, evening, overnight, weekends, and holidays.

• Eligibility to work in the United States or Canada, as specified in the job posting's location criteria.
