Travel Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Provide travel advice and arrangements for corporate clients, including both individuals and groups.

• Perform analysis and conduct research on various travel options.

• Anticipate the needs of travelers proactively and promote additional services.

• Organize and book domestic and international business travel, covering air, road, rail, and accommodations.

• Ensure adherence to the agreed travel policy of customers, as well as service provider policies and regulatory standards.

• Utilize effective telephone service techniques and respond to special requests from customers.

• Collaborate with team members to coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback aimed at enhancing service quality.

• Operate within a 24/7 Traveler Care environment, accommodating afternoon shifts and weekends as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in GDS, specifically Sabre, is essential.

• Native-level expertise in GDS (Sabre).

• Comprehensive knowledge of international travel.

• Experience in servicing clients via phone and email.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Integrity in handling personal traveler information.

• In-depth understanding of the travel industry, including business and leisure travel as well as airline reservations.

• Ability to resolve customer issues swiftly, either independently or in coordination with suppliers.

• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to accept feedback.

• Flexibility to work afternoon shifts from 12–8pm and weekends.
