This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee and improve the DermaQuest Shopify storefront for both DTC and B2B channels.

• Create and tailor Shopify themes utilizing Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Develop and manage custom sections, templates, and metafields for various campaigns, launches, and promotions.

• Integrate and oversee third-party Shopify applications and resolve any conflicts that arise.

• Work in collaboration with the marketing team on landing pages, updates to collections, and banners for the homepage.

• Enhance page speed, Core Web Vitals, mobile responsiveness, SEO, and overall conversion rates.

• Provide support for Shopify-related development on the B2B/pro portal and ensure cross-site consistency.

• Track and fix bugs, broken links, checkout problems, and errors on the storefront.

• Implement and assess Shopify Scripts, discount logic, and customizations for checkout processes.

• Aid in product tagging, variant configuration, metafields, and bulk data imports/exports.

• Examine overnight issues at the beginning of each shift.

• Carry out tasks from the ticket queue.

• Communicate with marketing, operations, and management via Slack or email.

• Test modifications in staging/dev environments prior to production deployment.

• Document completed tasks, code alterations, known issues, and technical debt.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of practical experience in Shopify development.

• Expertise in Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Background in customizing Shopify themes and developing custom sections.

• Knowledge of Shopify APIs, metafields, and app integrations.

• Ability to work independently in a part-time, remote setting.

• Availability from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM Pacific Time.

• Experience with subscription or recurring purchase applications is advantageous.
