This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Engage throughout the entire solution lifecycle, encompassing architecture, design, implementation, testing, documentation, and customer transition.
• Grasp customer needs and convert them into impactful technical solutions.
• Participate in solution architecture and technical design within the OpenText portfolio.
• Install, set up, and deploy OpenText software components.
• Execute projects adhering to established timelines and quality benchmarks.
• Generate technical documentation to support solution delivery and ongoing operational needs.
• Articulate technical options, recommendations, and decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Assist in pre-sales and bidding activities, including technical solution design, scope definition, and effort estimation.
• Recognize opportunities for customer solution enhancement through change requests and continual engagement.
• Foster relationships with customers and internal teams, manage expectations, and ensure successful project delivery.
• Work across diverse industries and projects, including transformation programs.
• Gradually assume ownership of technical engagements and lead delivery with increasing independence.
• Travel nationally and, on occasion, internationally, including customer-site engagements as required.
• Previous experience in technical implementation and software configuration projects.
• Proven track record of delivering enterprise-wide solutions.
• Familiarity with implementation and upgrades, systems integration, and system and unit testing methodologies.
• Solid working knowledge of Windows Server, Solaris, or Linux.
• Proficient in SQL; experience with Oracle or SQL Server is preferred.
• Knowledge of XML-related technologies and frameworks such as SAX, DOM, and STAX.
• Understanding of HTTP/HTTPS and associated protocols.
• Experience with web server technologies, TCP/IP, and fundamental networking protocols.
• Familiarity with LDAP and/or Active Directory.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and practices.
• Proficiency in scripting languages.
• Comprehension of the software development lifecycle and industry-standard frameworks.
• Strong interpersonal and people management abilities.
• Experience in contributing to and producing detailed, high-quality documentation.
• Involvement in pre-sales activities and preparation of sales/bid documentation.
• Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers.
• Initiative to resolve issues and gather necessary information.
• Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally.
• Experience with OpenText Content Server, xECM, or Documentum is highly desirable but not essential.
• Must be eligible to obtain high-level security clearance in the UK.
