This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and implement strategic initiatives to foster growth and improvement of the Transportation Provider network.
• Build relationships and uncover growth potential with national transportation providers.
• Assist in the development and expansion of transportation network plans alongside the capacity and planning team.
• Standardize capacity models within the Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) provider network.
• Recruit transportation providers and identify expansion possibilities within the current network.
• Collaborate with community organizations to form partnerships and alternative transportation solutions.
• Contribute to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), presentations, and strategic business suggestions.
• Engage in negotiations with transportation providers while maintaining strong business-partner relationships.
• Facilitate interdepartmental communication regarding network development opportunities and action plans.
• Assist in market research concerning transportation dynamics, client needs, and local governmental regulations.
• Develop procedures and policies for contract assessments, negotiation of terms and rates, and transportation contract requirements.
• Aid in the onboarding of new providers and address provider concerns, inquiries, and escalations.
• Utilize analytics and data insights to assess network expenses, performance, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Support cross-functional initiatives through milestones, project plans, and policy formulation.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Over ten (10) years of experience in account management, NEMT, and/or transportation.
• A minimum of one (1) year of experience in medical, specialty, and/or disability transportation management.
• A combination of education and/or experience may be considered in lieu of specific qualifications.
• Government contracting experience is highly desirable.
• Experience with Salesforce is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of the healthcare landscape, including MCOs, Medicare, Medicaid, and Health Systems.
• Capability to devise and execute strategic plans and establish departmental objectives aligned with organizational goals.
• Comprehensive understanding of NEMT and collaboration with transportation providers.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong skills in planning, problem-solving, attention to detail, and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation abilities.
• Strong interpersonal, stakeholder engagement, critical thinking, business acumen, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to adjust to changing priorities and dynamic environments.
