Bodily Injury Associate Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead a team of Bodily Injury Claims Adjusters who manage non-attorney represented auto casualty claims.

• Promote operational excellence and cultivate a customer-centric culture while ensuring adherence to company standards and state regulations.

• Mentor and develop team members.

• Guarantee quality claim outcomes while balancing customer experience, claim quality, and financial responsibility.

• Actively participate in special projects as a subject matter expert.

• Manage and evaluate vendor performance.

• Supervise responses to intricate arbitration disputes.

• Oversee negotiations for complex claim settlements.

• Address and resolve complicated customer conflicts or issues.

• Analyze unit reports to support the achievement of business unit goals.

• Define, analyze, and monitor department, section, and/or unit metrics.

• Assess employee work quality and customer interactions through ride-alongs, sit-alongs, and file reviews.

• Supervise team members.

• Proven experience in bodily injury claims leadership.

• Track record of successfully managing performance.

• Capacity to balance customer experience, claim quality, and financial stewardship.

• Ability to navigate intricate claim scenarios.

• Skill in building strong partnerships and motivating team performance.

• Expertise in Claims Processing.

• Competence in Conflict Management.

• Experience in Employee Supervision.

• Proficient in Negotiation.

• Supervisory experience and responsibilities.

• Required Monday-Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST.

• Authorization to work in the United States; the company does not sponsor work visas.

• A dedicated, private workspace free from distractions when working remotely.

• Suitable desk and seating arrangement for remote work.

• Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload.
