This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more states.
• Review and enhance AI-pretranslated content in Smartcat to ensure precision, fluency, grammatical correctness, tone, and natural expression in French.
• Consistently apply approved terminology across various skills, decisions, products, and specialized terms.
• Maintain a conversational, evidence-based approach that is commercially sharp.
• Naturally adapt the buyer-as-hero concept and “you” language for French-speaking audiences.
• Reconstruct finalized translations within existing PowerPoint presentations and Articulate Rise modules.
• Test and correct animations, transitions, triggers, timing, and build sequences.
• Address layout issues arising from localized text, including overflow, line breaks, and cut-off content.
• Perform minor text edits on images/screenshots within PowerPoint.
• Ensure all assets are delivered in a fully presentation-ready format.
• Collaborate with the internal team and other contractors, working independently towards milestones and engaging in 1–2 weekly check-ins.
• Business-level or Native proficiency in French with exceptional professional/B2B writing capabilities.
• Strong English comprehension and collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated experience in business, sales enablement, corporate learning, or professional localization.
• Proficient in working with terminology glossaries and style guides.
• Strong skills in PowerPoint, including the Animation Pane and animation troubleshooting.
• Experience with Articulate Rise or comparable authoring tools.
• Keen attention to layout, typography, and visual presentation quality.
• Availability to overlap with Eastern Time (GMT-4) / Central European business hours.
• Nice to have: experience in localization QA for animated or interactive presentations.
