Translator, Learning Designer – Localization Project (Portuguese - Brazil)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Examine and enhance AI-pretranslated content in Smartcat for precision, fluency, grammar, tone, and natural expression.

• Consistently implement approved terminology across skills, decisions, products, and specialized terms.

• Uphold a conversational, evidence-based, and commercially astute voice.

• Naturally adjust buyer-as-hero and “you” language for Brazilian audiences.

• Reconstruct finalized translations in existing PowerPoint presentations and Articulate Rise modules.

• Test and correct animations, transitions, triggers, timing, and construction sequences.

• Address layout problems arising from Portuguese text expansion.

• Conduct minor image/screenshot text modifications in PowerPoint.

• Provide assets in a fully presentation-ready condition.

• Collaborate with the internal team and other contractors, working independently toward milestones and participating in 1–2 weekly check-ins.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level Brazilian Portuguese with outstanding professional/B2B writing abilities.

• Strong English reading and collaboration capabilities.

• Demonstrated experience in business, sales-enablement, corporate learning, or professional localization.

• Proficient in working with terminology glossaries and style guides.

• Advanced PowerPoint skills, including the Animation Pane and animation troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with Articulate Rise or similar authoring tools.

• Keen attention to layout, typography, and visual presentation.

• Consistent availability overlapping with Eastern Time (GMT-4) / Central European business hours.

• Experience in localization QA for animated/interactive presentations is a plus.

• B2B sales-enablement experience is a plus.
