Translator – Learning Designer, Localization Project (French)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and enhance AI-pretranslated content in Smartcat for precision, fluency, grammar, tone, and authentic French expression.

• Consistently implement approved terminology across skills, decisions, products, and specialized vocabularies.

• Uphold a conversational, evidence-driven, and commercially astute voice.

• Naturally incorporate buyer-as-hero and “you” language for French-speaking audiences.

• Reconstruct final translations within existing PowerPoint presentations and Articulate Rise modules.

• Test and rectify animations, transitions, triggers, timing, and sequence builds.

• Address localized layout challenges, including overflow, line breaks, and content truncation.

• Execute minor image and screenshot text alterations in PowerPoint.

• Present assets in a fully polished, presentation-ready format.

• Work collaboratively with the internal team and other contractors independently toward milestones.

• Attend 1–2 check-ins each week.

⛳️ Requirements

• Business-level or native French proficiency with exceptional professional/B2B writing capabilities.

• Strong English comprehension and collaboration abilities.

• Demonstrated experience in business, sales enablement, corporate training, or professional localization.

• Proficient in utilizing terminology glossaries and style guides.

• Advanced PowerPoint skills, including familiarity with the Animation Pane and animation troubleshooting.

• Experience with Articulate Rise or equivalent authoring platforms.

• Keen attention to layout, typography, and visual aesthetics.

• Reliable availability aligning with Eastern Time (GMT-4) / Central European business hours.

• Preferred: experience in localization QA with animated or interactive presentations.

• Preferred: B2B sales enablement background.
