Translator – Learning Designer, Localization Project (French)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and enhance AI-pretranslated content in Smartcat to ensure accuracy, fluency, grammar, tone, and natural expression in French.

• Consistently apply approved terminology across various skills, decisions, products, and specialized terms.

• Naturally adapt language for French audiences using a buyer-as-hero and “you” approach.

• Reconstruct finalized translations within existing PowerPoint presentations and Articulate Rise modules.

• Test and fix animations, transitions, triggers, timing, and build sequences.

• Address localized-text layout challenges, including overflow, line breaks, and truncated content.

• Conduct minor edits to images and text in PowerPoint screenshots.

• Ensure that all assets are delivered in a fully presentation-ready format.

• Collaborate effectively with the internal team and other contractors.

• Work independently towards milestones and engage in 1–2 weekly check-ins.

⛳️ Requirements

• Business-fluent or native-level French with exceptional professional/B2B writing capabilities.

• Strong English reading comprehension and collaboration abilities.

• Established experience in business, sales enablement, corporate learning, or professional localization.

• Comfortable utilizing terminology glossaries and adhering to style guides.

• Proficient in PowerPoint, including the Animation Pane and animation troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with Articulate Rise or comparable authoring tools.

• Keen attention to layout, typography, and overall visual presentation.

• Ability to align with Eastern Time (GMT-4) / Central European business hours reliably.

• Preferred: Experience in localization QA for animated/interactive presentations.

• Preferred: Background in B2B sales enablement.

• Capability to work remotely in a contract position.
