Transfer Credit Evaluator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• The Transfer Credit Evaluator is tasked with thoroughly assessing transfer coursework and non-traditional learning credits for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students.

• This role is vital for student success, ensuring that transfer credit decisions are accurate, timely, and consistent, in accordance with institutional policies, accreditation standards, and degree requirements.

• The evaluator examines academic records from both domestic and international institutions, evaluates the transferability and equivalency of coursework, maintains articulation data, and acts as a subject matter expert on transfer credit policies and procedures.

• This position works closely with Admissions, Registrar, Academic Affairs, Student Success, and faculty members to streamline the transfer credit process and support enrollment and retention initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

• At least three years of professional experience in higher education, ideally within registrar services, admissions, transfer credit evaluation, academic advising, or student records.

• Proficiency in interpreting academic records, curricula, policies, and degree requirements.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Capacity to handle multiple priorities while upholding a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.

• Familiarity with student information systems, database applications, and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in evaluating transfer credit and course equivalencies.

• Understanding of articulation agreements, transfer pathways, and prior learning assessment practices.

• Experience with ERP systems such as Workday, Jenzabar, Banner, Colleague, or similar platforms.

• Knowledge of accreditation standards and FERPA regulations.

• Experience in supporting online, graduate, and adult learner populations.
