Transcription Reviewer – Clinical Conversation Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate clinical calls by listening to them and comparing the audio with the corresponding transcripts.

• Determine if each transcript meets the established quality standards.

• Approve transcripts or return them with specific, timestamped inline comments and a brief summary.

• Assess transcript coverage through the entirety of the call.

• Confirm verbatim accuracy, including filler words, false starts, stutters, repetitions, and acknowledgments.

• Ensure that uncertain clinical terminology is flagged rather than speculated.

• Validate turn-level timestamps, speaker labels, and bracket tags for laughter, crosstalk, and inaudible segments.

• Assist in developing transcription conventions and quality benchmarks during the initial review phases.

• Participate in projects aimed at training and improving AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience in reviewing, editing, proofreading, or quality assurance of transcripts, with a proven record of high ratings.

• Background in medical transcription, clinical documentation, medical scribing, closed captioning, or legal and court transcription.

• AHDI credentials such as CHDS, RHDS, or CMT are highly desirable, though not mandatory.

• Outstanding attention to detail.

• Ability to work with detailed written specifications and maintain consistent formatting standards.

• Native or near-native English listening comprehension across various accents.

• Access to a quiet working environment.

• Use of over-ear headphones; laptop speakers are inadequate.

• Must work entirely by ear and is prohibited from using any transcription tools or AI services.

• Must handle de-identified clinical audio in accordance with a strict data agreement.

• Comfort with potentially distressing medical content is required.

• Unable to sponsor H1-B or STEM OPT candidates.
