Transaction Management Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +17 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in the expansion of mortgage asset sale channels encompassing agency, whole loan, and non-agency investors.

• Collaborate with the Capital Markets trade desk and loan delivery teams to facilitate loan and servicing sales, address transaction challenges, and identify areas for process enhancement.

• Provide support for distressed loan sale activities as required.

• Reconcile investor purchase advice, assess execution against expectations, and communicate findings to the Transaction Manager.

• Review and reconcile post-sale components, including holdbacks, EPO/EPD invoices, escrow releases, note transfers or re-certifications, and post-funding data corrections.

• Develop and maintain reporting mechanisms to track the loan sale pipeline and enhance operational transparency.

• Oversee note release and collateral management with warehouse banks and custodians, escalating any risks or exceptions as necessary.

• Collaborate with the Servicing team and servicing buyers to resolve transfer-related challenges and ensure seamless post-sale execution.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a similar relevant field.

• Experience with the Uniform Loan Delivery Dataset (ULDD).

• Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail.

• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

• Capability to work collaboratively across teams to enhance results.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced, data-driven environment.
