This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate both instructor-led and virtual training programs for employees.
• Deliver mandatory training for the agency, including First Aid/CPR, Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), Electronic Health Record (EHR/Welligent), new employee orientation, and other specified courses.
• Handle all logistical aspects of training, such as scheduling, registration, materials, classroom setup, equipment, and communication with participants.
• Apply adult learning theories and interactive instructional methods to improve employee engagement and retention.
• Keep precise records of employee training in the Relias Learning Management System (LMS).
• Upload training certificates, confirm completion of both internal and external courses, and ensure that documentation is up to date.
• Generate quarterly compliance reports, annual training summaries, and other training metrics for leadership review.
• Conduct audits of employee training records to guarantee adherence to agency policies, licensing standards, accreditation requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Track mandatory training completion and update supervisors and leadership on compliance status.
• Work in partnership with department leaders to identify organizational training needs and suggest appropriate learning solutions.
• Support the development, revision, and ongoing enhancement of training curricula and educational resources.
• Assess training effectiveness through participant feedback, evaluations, and performance results.
• Maintain up-to-date instructor certifications and stay informed about best practices in adult learning and workforce development.
• Travel frequently to agency locations to deliver on-site training and support.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training and Development, Human Resources, Human Services, Organizational Development, or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred prior experience as a Training Specialist, Training Coordinator, Corporate Trainer, Training Facilitator, or in a similar position.
• Proven experience in planning, organizing, and conducting multiple employee or corporate training programs.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and online training platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Strong capability to handle multiple priorities while adhering to deadlines.
• Current certification or the ability to obtain instructor certifications in First Aid/CPR, Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), and other agency-required training programs is preferred.
• Valid North Carolina driver's license (or the ability to acquire one upon hire).
• Driving record that complies with the agency's motor vehicle insurance eligibility criteria.
